Dr Hills gained his PhD at Washington State University, USA, in 1993 and subsequently gained practical experience in the environmental monitoring industry. He has worked in The Netherlands, Japan and the USA before moving to Cambridge. His unique mix of technical understanding with business experience has enabled him to contribute actional strategic plans for the public and private organisations he has worked for. His experience covers electronics instrumentation, bio-organic sensor design and development data collection, market research, financial modelling and management consulting.
