Course Description
| CMOS/BiCMOS Analog IC Design |
Date: from 16 Oct 2000 to 20 Oct 2000 5 day(s)
English Limerick Inn Hotel, Ennis Road, Limerick, Ireland
1240,00 EURO 1080 for groups of 2 or more
The course has been designed for circuit designers who need to implement analogue integrated circuits using CMOS and/or BiCMOS technologies. The course will provide experienced analogue circuit designers
with a valuable update on the latest and upcoming developments in the field. It will give novices, and those considering entering the field, an indispensable foundation in the fundamentals of the technology and
ways in which it can be implemented successfully. Participants should have a general knowledge of analogue circuits, electrical circuit analysis and familiarity with integrated circuit technology.

Course Instructor: Professor Philip Allen
Prof Allen holds the Schlumberger Chair in Analogue Circuit Design at Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA, USA. He is a registered electrical engineer and is a Fellow of the IEEE, and is widely regarded as one of the foremost international authorities on analogue CMOS circuit design. He has worked and consulted with many companies, including Lawrence Livermore Laboratory, General Motors (Delco), Pacific Missile Range, Texas Instruments and Lockheed Research Laboratory.
He is the co-author of "Introduction to Theory and Design of Active Filters" (1980), "Switched Capacitor Circuits" (1984), "CMOS Analogue Circuit Design" (1987) and "VLSI Techniques for Analogue and Digital Circuits" (1990). Dr. Allen teaches short courses on CMOS analogue circuit design in Europe and the USA on a regular basis.
